5th Generation: Ex Vivo 2500 for Instant Digital Pathology

Munich, 26th September 2025 – VivaScope is happy to announce the launch of the new Generation 5 Ex Vivo. This innovative generation offers significant technological improvements that will improve one more time the workflow for pathologists, pulmonoligists and dermatologists. With Generation 5, we have taken the Ex Vivo VivaScope 2500 to the next level by implementing advanced technologies starting with optimised slide handling, through new imaging modes, to a completely new and larger objective.

New Sliding Cover

Easy and simple

Compared to the previous version, access to the laser can now be granted simply and intuitively with a sliding cover. In addition, the display can now also be placed behind the device. This was not possible in the previous version due to the clap.

New Imaging Modes

Faster & better resolution, based on your requirement.

1. Averaging
Increase the clarity of the image by enhancing the signal to noise ratio.

2. Maximum Resolution
Increase the resolution of the image to reveal smallest details in the sample – like switching to a higher magnification objective.

3. Fast Imaging
Scan large samples in half the time by reducing the image resolution – like switching to a lower magnifi cation objective.

New Glass Slide Holder

Magnetic.

The magnetic slide holder makes it very easy to position the slides. In the previous version, the slides had to be clamped in place. This makes the workflow in everyday clinical practice even easier and more intuitive.

New Glass Slides

Specified. For different tissues.

By using three diff erent slides (Dermatology, Biopsies, and Cytomatrix), predefi ned sizes can now be used to fix the sample. This makes handling easier. Diff erent colors also make it clear which slide can be used for which purpose.
